Traditional terracotta (calcareous) earthenware body. Its calcium carbonate content (20%) allows displaying an interesting palette of colours, from pink to straw colours, depending on the firing temperature and atmosphere. Its wide range of softness makes it suitable for throwing, modelling and shaping processes (extruding and pressing). Its coefficients of thermal expansion are ideal for standard glazes for pottery, in both once and twice firing processes. Its high resistance to frost and environmental degradation make it ideal for pieces exposed outdoors (garden pots, tiles, etc.).
Available in powder (dry form) and extruded body (moist form) in a wide range of water content depending on the shapping application.
Dry form is supplied in plastic bags of 25kg and big-bags of 1000kg and moist form is supplied in wrapped and non wrapped units of 12.5kg and 20kg depending on its application.
