PT/CH - Grogged terracotta earthenware body (990º-1085ºC)
Print

Terracotta (calcareous) grogged earthenware body. The presence of grog confers to clay a very interesting textured surface (not flat) which, in turn, provides a set of suitable properties for the design of pieces in complex drying situations, thus avoiding the creation of deformations and cracks. Adequate for shaping and modelling. Its high resistance to frost and environmental degradation make it ideal for pieces exposed outdoors (big size garden pots, tiles, etc.).
