“Lila” high temperature grogged body (1240º-1300ºC)
“Lila” high temperature grogged body. Designed for artistic ceramics. Known as “Lila” because of its raw colour (Spanish word which means “lilac”). It bears 40% grog, which texture, from fine to very coarse, confers expression possibilities and an excellent behaviour during drying and firing. Its high plasticity gives optimum properties for modelling. Its amazing firing colour, with different tones of dark tan brown, highlights the relief of the piece, and becomes an ideal artistic mean of expression. It is wide used for murals and sculpture. Very good behaviour for Raku.
