The 22 semifinalists of the ARTFAD awards, which in this edition are part of the FADFEST event, organized by the FAD are:
Professionals: Luis Acosta, Karol Bergeret, Cabinet Society, Micocotte, Miriam Camarillas, Comglas, Toni Cumella, Charo Díez, díez + dez diseño, Salvador Juanpere, Roser López, Arturo Muñoz, Joan Pallares, Yamandú Pazos and Lesley Yendell.
Student: Selva Aparicio, Nuria Guerra, Kumiko Kuwabara, Joan Martin, Pamela Martinez, Saskia Siebe and Adrianna Wallis.
The exhibition opens on June 28, 19h, coinciding with the start of FADFEST, and the awards will take place on 5 July a les 20h.
The winner for the design and creation of the award is COMGLASS. The design of the award is a collaboration with CERAMICA COLLET SA
On 5 July, the ceremony of ARTFAD awards, the author of the award will briefly explain his project and award the prize to the winner of one of the categories.
The A-FAD announce the awards for contemporary art and artisanship, with the goal of stimulating research, creation, and excellence in the field of the trades of the arts. The ARTFAD awards form part of the FADFEST event, organized by the FAD, Promotion of Arts and Design.

What is FADFEST?
The FADFEST is the big annual event in the sectors of design and creativity in Barcelona. In addition to concentrating the most prestigious awards in Spain in graphic and industrial design, architecture, art, crafts and fashion, brings together the best projects in an exhibition of the year and organizes a full program of discussions and actions around the art, culture and design.
