We present the new TOFFEE clay, a caramel-toned stoneware that complements the successful range of SIO-2® high fire clays for artistic ceramics.
It contains 40% impalpable grog 0-0.2 mm (up to 80 Mesh), so it is ideal for throwing and modelling pieces with fine details and a smooth surface. Its high content of grog provides it with excellent behavior during drying and firing, making it suitable for both professionals and amateurs.
Depending on the firing temperature, it develops a beautiful range of natural tones, from oatmeal beige to caramel brown, which create a warm base that is highly appreciated in ceramic decoration, as it combines perfectly in both traditional and avant-garde spaces. It is also suitable for tableware (food-safe).
