The SIO-2® range of high-fire clays, with a firing range from 1200ºC to 1300ºC, includes a wide proposal of grogged clays for artistic ceramics.
They contain a high percentage of grog (40%), with different granulometries, from very fine (0-0.2 mm) to very coarse (1-3 mm), which provides excellent behavior during drying and firing. The varieties with greater granulometry develop textures that give character to the piece.
Their extraordinary plasticity makes them optimal for modelling and large-format sculpture, and their wide range of colour shades, from ivory white to graphite black, makes them an ideal means of artistic expression. They are also suitable for Raku.
