Love this clay but last bags were not the same
This is my absolute favorite clay. It holds up so well. I am disappointed to learn that it is no longer sold in the USA. And yes, the other reviewer is correct. The last palate of clay sold to a supplier in the US was an inferior batch. This newer batch was darker in color when wet, and it fired to a different not as nice color. Not as much grog either. The original PRGF was reddish brown in color and fired to a beautiful orange brown. My supplier had just old bags of the original PRGF and it was completely dried out. I bought up the rest of what he had, and am reclaiming the clay. It is That Good!! He sold it to me for less than half price because no one else would have purchased it in the condition it is in. Please SIO bring back the original PRGF which is reddish in color not brown and sell to suppliers in the US.

The color is not correct. After firing, dark brown.
I ordered this clay. Expecting color as in your site's photos. After firing at 1300 degrees, the color became dark brown, without interesting beige shades. It was in wood firing on Anagama kiln.
