Ceramic Lab is the first fair exclusively dedicated to ceramics: a meeting point to discover, shop, and experience ceramics from the inside.

You will find selected brands and ceramic artists, unique pieces and contemporary collections, as well as materials, tools, and proposals for all levels. A space designed for curious visitors, ceramics enthusiasts, and industry professionals alike.

Ceramic Lab is not just a fair: it is an experience. A place to learn and take part through workshops, live demonstrations, and activities that bring the creative process closer to the public in a modern and accessible way.

SIO-2 at Ceramic Lab

WORKSHOP: From clay to table: create two textured and glazed bowls

A hands-on workshop where you will create two ceramic bowls, working with SIO-2® clays and discovering firsthand how texture and glaze can transform a simple piece into a unique object.

Building the bowls — Basic hand-building techniques to shape your pieces.
Textures — We will explore different ways of working the clay surface to achieve original and expressive finishes.
Glazing — You will learn the basic techniques for applying glazes and how to choose them according to the desired result.

A workshop designed for anyone who wants to discover the pleasure of working with clay and take home two pieces they have created themselves.

MASTERCLASS: Ceramic bodies and natural clays for modeling. 150 years of experience

Speaker: Mari Carmen Ferrer, Technical Director of SIO-2

Since 1874, SIO-2® has been manufacturing ceramic bodies and natural clays for modeling, combining craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability to create materials trusted by artists, studios, and professionals worldwide.

Differences between the main ceramic bodies and clays: composition, behavior, and characteristics.

Key insights into firing ranges for each material and how to achieve the best performance.

Practical criteria for selecting the right clay body depending on the type of piece, technique, and final use.

Whether you are a professional ceramist, student, or hobbyist, this session will provide you with practical tools to make better technical decisions and continue growing as a creator.

EXPRESS WORKSHOP: Crochet-textured tray

We will create a tray with a delicate crochet texture using a doily, perfect for storing jewelry, keys, or small objects.

We will work with SIO-2® PLUS air-drying clay, a material that hardens naturally and allows you to achieve great results with ease.

No prior experience is needed—just the desire to create and enjoy the process.
