ANETO SLIP: Discover the convenience of your favourite white porcelain, prepared in liquid form for slip casting

The world of ceramics is constantly evolving, and materials play a key role in the quality and ease of work for ceramicists. Among these innovations, ANETO SLIP liquid porcelain stands out as a high-performance solution for those seeking a translucent white porcelain that is ready to use and offers excellent slip casting behaviour.

Advantages of ready-to-use liquid porcelain

Working with powdered porcelain and having to prepare the slip can be a tedious and delicate process. The water ratio, mixing time, and removal of air bubbles are critical factors that can affect the final result. With ANETO SLIP, all this preparatory work is eliminated, offering a series of key benefits:

Ease of use: As it is ready to be poured into moulds, ANETO SLIP eliminates the need for mixing, sieving, and viscosity adjustments, saving time and preventing preparation errors.

Consistent quality: Its stable formula ensures perfect homogeneity with every use, avoiding inconsistencies in fluidity or piece formation.

Less material waste: Since it does not require water or deflocculant adjustments, losses due to incorrect mixtures or powder waste are minimised.

Greater efficiency in the workshop: The speed at which ANETO SLIP can be used allows for a more streamlined production process, optimising time at each stage of ceramic work.

Firing stability: ANETO SLIP porcelain stands out for its stability during firing, with a safe temperature range between 1230 and 1270°C.

Safe for tableware: It complies with ISO 6486, making it safe for the production of pieces intended for food contact.

Practical and secure packaging

ANETO SLIP is available in a 3.5-litre (6 kg) container, designed for convenient storage and handling. Its screw cap with a security seal and airtight heat-sealed membrane ensures that the slip remains in optimal condition from the first to the last drop.

Why choose ANETO SLIP over other market options?

While other liquid porcelains are available, ANETO SLIP stands out for its balance between ease of use and superior quality. Unlike less stable options, this porcelain maintains its ideal viscosity for longer, preventing problematic sedimentation and ensuring a perfect casting process. If the slip appears slightly settled, a gentle stir is enough to restore its original fluidity.

For professional and amateur ceramicists looking for precision, efficiency, and a flawless finish, ANETO SLIP is the best choice.

Colour after firing

The screw cap comes with a security seal to ensure that the container has not been tampered with before use. This guarantees that the product arrives in perfect condition.

A heat-sealed membrane protects the opening of the drum, ensuring that the liquid remains completely airtight until the moment of use.

Before starting, stir the product well to ensure it is homogeneous, but avoid excessive shaking to prevent bubble formation. Let it rest for a few minutes so that any trapped air can escape. If necessary, add only distilled water.

Use only plaster moulds for filling. Make sure they are completely dry and clean before starting. For greater precision, pour the product into a jug before filling the mould. When pouring, do so continuously along the side of the mould and let the liquid flow down inside. This will help prevent bubbles from forming. Then, wait between 5 and 15 minutes before emptying the mould, depending on the desired thickness. If you want a thicker piece, let it rest a little longer and top up when the level drops.

Before emptying the mould, tap it gently. You will notice that the material becomes more fluid. Empty the excess product and allow it to drain properly. Any leftover slip can be stored in its original container, tightly sealed, for future use.

Wait at least 1 hour before demoulding. If the piece is large, it is better to leave it for longer. Demould carefully to avoid deforming the piece. Once demoulded, remove the clay from the filling area and use this moment to smooth the seams. Once dry, your piece is ready for firing and ceramic decoration. Before reusing the mould, ensure it is thoroughly cleaned and completely dry so that it is ready for the next casting.
