10th National Ceramics Awards. Granada, May 31, 2025.

Ceramica Collet S.A. (SIO-2) has won the National Ceramics Award in the category of Innovation, management, promotion, and commercialization in ceramics, in recognition of our 150-year trajectory, marked by continuous innovation and international expansion.

The award was received by Rafael Boixadera, General Manager of the company, during an emotional ceremony held on May 31 at the Maestro Alonso Theater in Granada.

The event, organized by the AeCC – Spanish Association of Ceramic Cities, was presided over by Ana Belén Sánchez Requena, councilwoman of the Granada City Council, and Juan Jesús Padilla Fernández, president of the AeCC, who highlighted the importance of these awards as recognition of the commitment to ceramics in Spain.

The jury was composed of Juan Jesús Padilla (President of AeCC), Wladimir Vivas (ceramist and journalist at Infoceramica), and Juan Manuel Anguas (Director of the School of Artisan Training in Gelves, Seville).

Special Jury Awards: Fundación Fajalauza and Centro Albayzín (Granada)

Traditional Ceramics: Juan Carlos Martín (Fresno de Cantespino, Segovia)

Contemporary Creative Ceramics: Rafaela Pareja (Manises, Valencia)

Activity in Favor of Ceramics: Fundación Innovarcilla (Bailén, Jaén)

Innovation, Management, Promotion and Commercialization in Ceramics: Cerámica Collet – SIO-2 (Esparreguera, Barcelona)

Historical/Ethnological Research: Núria Franco Polo (Cáceres)

Emerging Artist: Alfonso David Hidalgo (Úbeda, Jaén)

The company expresses its gratitude to the AeCC for its efforts in promoting the value of ceramics in our towns and to the Argentona City Council for nominating our candidacy.
