1. Shape the clay
Model the shape you like the most in your own way: a bowl, a plate, a glass, a cup, a pencil holder, a figure, etc. We recommend using SIO-2® clays for Hobby Ceramics, which are very versatile clays for modelling, drying without defects and firing in a wide range between 1000ºC and 1.260ºC.
2. Add textures
Enhance the finish of your piece by marking the surface with textures and reliefs of various shapes. You will love the effects they produce on the finished piece.
3. Decorate with glazes
Decorate your piece with infinite tones and colours. Use prepared glazes, special for Hobby Ceramics. Compared to conventional ceramic glazes, hobby ceramics glazes are prepared in a liquid state, ready to use. Raw colours guide the final fired colour, thus facilitating creative design. During handling, liquid preparations do not require the protective equipment that is necessary in conventional (powder) glazes.
If you still don't dare to model your own piece, you can decorate directly on ceramic bisque, which are fired pieces that only require the final decoration.
4. Take it to a kiln
See the list of firing service points in Spain. You are sure to find a ceramic kiln nearby. Make sure the firing temperature is suitable for the type of clay and glaze you have used.
5. Your work forever
Enjoy your personalized ceramic piece forever. It's exclusive, nobody has one like it!
