WB 03999 blanco torno

Classic white stoneware body WB 03999 for artistic and decorative ceramics, suitable for plastic forming techniques. It offers very good plasticity for modelling and wheel throwing, with excellent performance on the wheel.

In oxidising firing, it develops the traditional white-cream tone; in reduction, it acquires a pearl shade. It provides a good balance between workability, shrinkage and absorption within its stoneware range.

• Recommended firing range: 1000–1260 °C (cone 06 - cone 7)
• Moisture (plastic): 19.5 %
• Wet-to-dry shrinkage: 5.0 %
• Dry-to-fired shrinkage (1200 °C): 6.0 %
• Water absorption (1200 °C): 2.5 %
• Coefficient of thermal expansion (20–500 °C): 7.1 x10⁻⁶/°C
• Loss on ignition: 5.5 %
