Set of 8 modelling tools for working with clay

The SIO-2® pottery tool kit is the basic tool set you need to get started with clay modelling. Contains: 1 sponge, 1 metallic rib, 1 large wire-loop tool, 1 wooden spatula, 1 double-face wire-loop tool, 1 punch, 1 cutting wire, 1 wooden rib.

The damp sponge is used to smooth and polish surfaces, achieving a very clean finish.

Metal rib smooths out small imperfections on curved surfaces.

The large wire-loop tool is used to remove large pieces of excess clay and shape your piece.

The wooden spatula is used to press and smooth the clay in a specific area. For example, when making a noodle of clay to reinforce the joints of plates in the form of an angle.

The double-face wire-loop tool is used to remove small excess clay and refine the details of the piece.

The metallic punch is used to previously scratch the parts that we want to join with the help of slurry (clay previously mixed with water until obtaining a liquid texture). It is also used to make small holes.

The cutting wire helps us to easily cut the clay needed for modelling.

The wooden rib helps to eliminate small imperfections on flat surfaces.
