SG201 Black Cobblestone 118ml (4oz)

SG-201 Black Cobblestone is a special Mayco glaze that creates a cobblestone or cracked stone texture after firing. Its finish forms irregular raised fragments that allow the base glaze color to show through, adding depth and a strong visual impact to the piece.

It is ideal for decorative and artistic ceramics where a bold and unique surface effect is desired. It can be used alone or over another glaze to create color and texture contrasts.

It works at low-fire temperatures (cone 06) and can also be used at mid-range temperatures, producing different results depending on the firing range.
It is not recommended for functional ware, as the surface is irregular and difficult to clean.

Application:
Shake well before use. Apply two generous coats with a brush, applying the second coat before the first is completely dry. The amount of glaze and the way it is applied will influence the size and shape of the “cobblestone” effect.
