SW447 Blue Bead is a blue ceramic glaze with a highly defined three-dimensional texture, designed to add relief, presence, and a living surface to your pieces. It is formulated to create small “beads” or solid bubbles during firing, producing a strong tactile and visual effect that turns any surface into the main feature.

Applied in several coats with a soft brush, this glaze builds a raised pattern that comes alive in the kiln, resulting in a glossy finish with spectacular volume. The intensity of the texture depends on the number of coats and the thickness applied: the heavier the application, the richer and more pronounced the surface becomes.

It is ideal for artistic and decorative pieces where texture and visual impact take center stage.

• Color: intense blue with pronounced texture.
