MAYCO SW002 Stoneware Matte Clear 3.78l (1gal)

Mayco SW-002 Stoneware Matte Clear is a transparent glaze with a soft, natural matte finish. It is ideal for protecting stoneware and porcelain pieces without significantly altering the colour of the decoration underneath.

It can be used in both oxidation and reduction firings, within the cone 5-10 range, approximately between 1205 ºC and 1300 ºC. It is AP non-toxic and food safe when applied according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Apply to bisque-fired ware. Shake well before use. Apply one coat by dipping or spraying, or 2-3 coats when brushing, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.

Note: the first sample corresponds to a cone 6 firing, 1220 ºC, while the second shows the result at cone 10, 1300 ºC. Results may vary depending on the clay body, application and firing temperature.
