9878 Craquelé 1220-1280ºC 200ml

The 9878 Transparent Crackle glaze is a glossy, transparent glaze that develops a network of fine decorative cracks during cooling, creating an elegant crackle effect. Its glassy finish enhances the ceramic surface, adding visual texture and character.

It is particularly suitable for decorative effects, as the crackle pattern can be highlighted by filling the cracks with pigments, inks or solutions such as dark tea after firing.

Effect depending on firing temperature

• 1220 °C – finer crackle and slightly less glassy surface
• 1250 °C – balanced crackle development
• 1280 °C – more glassy surface with stronger crackle

Ideal for porcelain, stoneware and high-temperature ceramics.
