9885 Temmokubraun 1220-1280ºC 200ml

The 9885 Tenmoku Brown glaze is a classic stoneware glaze featuring a deep brown tone with rich visual effects. Its finish ranges from satin to glossy, developing complex variations with light, dark and black inclusions that add depth and texture.

Its behaviour clearly evolves with firing temperature, producing different effects at each range.

• Recommended application: 2–3 coats
• At 1280 °C apply maximum 2 coats
• Stable between 1220 and 1280 °C
• Ideal firing temperature: 1250 °C (30 min soak)
• Suitable for tableware and food contact

Effect depending on firing temperature

• 1220 °C – brown with light and dark effects, satin finish
• 1250 °C – brown with black inclusions and stronger contrast
• 1280 °C – slightly reddish brown with light and black inclusions, glossy finish

Ideal for porcelain, stoneware and high-temperature ceramics.
