MAYCO UG090 Green Mist 118ml (4oz)

Mayco ceramic underglazes formulated for decoration, coverage and detail work on ceramic pieces. They can be applied to wet clay, leather-hard ware, dry ware or bisque, allowing the creation of coloured backgrounds, designs, illustrations, gradients and layered decorations.

One coat provides a more translucent finish, while 2-3 coats offer greater opacity and coverage. The colours are intermixable and can be applied with a brush to create shading, transitions and decorative effects.

Their natural finish, without glaze, is matte. To intensify the colour, add gloss, protect the surface or use on pieces intended for dinnerware, it is recommended to apply a compatible clear or matte clear glaze.

Indicative firing range: from cone 06 (1000 °C) to cone 10 (1300 °C). Prior testing is recommended according to the clay body, kiln and firing temperature used.
