Sustainability Policy
Cerámica Collet S.A. is a company based in Esparreguera (Barcelona), with over 150 years of experience in producing ceramic bodies for industry, pottery and artistic ceramics, as well as natural modelling clays for crafts, fine arts and education. Since our beginnings, we have upheld a strong commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability, integrating economic, social and environmental criteria throughout our operations, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

1. Environmental Commitment
• We have begun our energy transition by acquiring and preparing the installation of photovoltaic solar panels for self-consumption, choosing clean and renewable energy sources.
• We comply with European and American regulations on safety, toxicity and waste management, reducing the environmental impact of our products and processes.
• We have been ISO 9001 certified for our Quality Management System since 2001, as part of our commitment to continuous improvement and sustainable operations.
2. Commitment to Social and Labour Responsibility
• Our team is composed of employees from diverse nationalities, with a 50:50 gender balance and an equal pay policy based on professional category, with no discrimination based on gender or origin.
• We ensure a safe, inclusive and respectful work environment through the implementation of occupational risk prevention protocols (ORPP) and actions against harassment.
• We prioritise ergonomics and employee wellbeing by automating production processes, increasing productivity and reducing physical strain.
• We collaborate with social employment workshops, promoting the socio-labour integration of people in vulnerable situations.
3. Commitment to Innovation and Digitalisation
• We are undergoing a digital transformation process, implementing advanced systems such as Power BI, optimised logistics (WMS) and the MES production management system.
• This transformation boosts efficiency, traceability and sustainability, ensuring a smarter and more responsible management of our resources.
4. Commitment to the Community and Ceramic Culture
• We actively promote ceramic art and local culture through our collaboration and sponsorship of sector-related events and organisations.
• We have two retail shops that allow us to engage directly with end customers, understand their needs and foster direct contact with ceramists and enthusiasts.
5. Commitment to a Responsible Value Chain
• We work exclusively with reliable European raw material suppliers, ensuring traceability, quality and regulatory compliance.
• We foster long-term relationships based on trust, ethics and sustainability.
Future Objectives 2025–2030
• Ensure that at least 30% of our energy consumption comes from solar energy through self-consumption.
• Strengthen digitalisation and efficiency across our processes to achieve energy savings, environmental sustainability, and a socially responsible environment.
• Implement carbon footprint indicators and define annual reduction strategies.
• Expand the technical internship programme for students and reinforce continuous training.
• Consolidate partnerships with local social, educational and cultural organisations.
