Giffin Grip Mini

The Giffin Grip Mini™ is a holding and centering system designed to make trimming ceramic pieces on the pottery wheel faster and easier. More compact than the Giffin Grip Model 10®, it provides quick, gentle and stable support while reducing the time needed to center pieces manually.

Its sliding arms move simultaneously towards the center, keeping the piece correctly positioned while you work. Thanks to its four different gripping attachments, it can be used with pieces ranging from approximately 1.5 cm to 24 cm in diameter.

Its low-profile design helps keep trimming scraps inside the wheel tray, while the locking system keeps the sliding arms securely in position during use. It can be used on wheels rotating in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

The system mounts directly onto standard wheel-head bat pins using its distinctive fish-shaped mounting brackets, allowing it to be moved easily from one wheel to another without the need for readjustment.

In addition to trimming, the Giffin Grip Mini™ can also be used for tasks such as waxing the base of pieces, sanding, banding, glazing and decorating.

Compatible with pottery wheels fitted with standard bat pins for 25.5 cm (10") wheel heads. It includes holes for standard US 1/4-20 bat pins, European 10 mm metric pins and a third configuration specifically designed for the Shimpo Aspire.
