9310 Malachit 1020-1280ºC 200ml

High-gloss glaze, free of toxic additives, with a deep and dark green color, similar to the classic bottle green. It offers a glossy, glassy, and semi-transparent surface, ideal for a wide variety of finishes.

It has a wide firing range from 1020°C to 1280°C (cones 05-04 to cone 8-9), making it very versatile:

• At 1050°C: intense, almost opaque colors. It is recommended to apply 2 to 3 coats.
• At 1150°C: bright colors with a fairly semi-transparent finish. Apply 2 coats.
• At 1250°C: vitreous, semi-transparent surface with intense pastel tones, especially attractive on porcelain. Apply 2 coats.

For an optimal finish, you can apply either one thick coat or two thin coats. However, from 1150°C, if applied in a thick coat, the glaze tends to run.

Suitable for tableware and also for the raku technique.
In addition, excellent results can be achieved when combined with BOTZ Unidekor.
