9318 Calcitgelb 1020-1280ºC 200ml

High-gloss glaze, free of toxic additives, with a pastel yellow tone featuring a semi-transparent surface with fine brown speckles. It provides a glossy, glassy finish with a delicate speckled effect, ideal for a wide variety of pieces.

It has a wide firing range from 1020°C to 1280°C (cones 05-04 to cone 8-9), making it very versatile:

• At 1050°C: natural brown spots, almost opaque finish. It is recommended to apply 2 to 3 coats.•
• At 1150°C: finely speckled surface with a fairly semi-transparent finish. Apply 2 coats.
• At 1250°C: glassy, semi-transparent surface with more delicate spots. Apply 2 coats.

For an optimal finish, you can apply one thick coat or two thin coats. However, from 1150°C, if applied in a thick coat, the glaze tends to run.

Suitable for tableware and also for the raku technique.
Excellent results can also be achieved when combined with BOTZ Unidekor.
