9870 Transparent 1220-1280ºC 200ml

The 9870 Transparent glaze is a glossy, colourless glaze that creates a clean, glass-like surface on ceramics. Its transparency enhances the natural colour of the clay body and intensifies the tones of slips and decorative layers applied underneath.

It is particularly suitable as a protective layer over decorations or to add a bright glossy finish while maintaining a clear and uniform appearance.

Effect depending on firing temperature

• 1220 °C – slightly satin finish
• 1250 °C – clean, glassy transparency
• 1280 °C – more melted and glassy surface

Ideal for porcelain, stoneware and high-temperature ceramics.
