The 9869 Mountain Lake glaze features an elegant water-green tone with turquoise nuances reminiscent of the colours of an alpine lake. Its glossy, semi-transparent finish creates a luminous and deep surface, especially suited for textured or relief pieces.
During firing, it develops a network of fine decorative cracks that create a delicate crackle effect, adding visual richness and character to each piece.

Effect depending on firing temperature

• 1250 °C – smoother surface with deeper crackle and balanced celadon tone
• 1280 °C – more glassy and slightly greener with higher tendency to flow
