9892 Salamander 1220-1280ºC 200ml
Esmalte BOTZ Steinzeug. Temperatura de cocción: 1200ºC - 1280ºC
The 9892 Salamander glaze features a satin black base with fine mustard yellow and orange-brown effects, often arranged in small ring-like formations. Its satin finish and reactive behaviour create a richly nuanced, organic and highly decorative surface.
Depending on firing temperature and application thickness, the glaze develops different effects: at 1250 °C it can show the characteristic “Salamander effect,” while at 1280 °C it shifts toward a satin black with beautiful orange-brown variations. In thicker applications, it may tend to run.
