9893 Graubasalt 1220-1280ºC 200ml

The 9893 Graubasalt glaze is an elegant grey with a silky finish and subtle tonal variations. It provides a balanced and versatile surface, suitable for both functional and decorative pieces.

Depending on the firing temperature, the colour shifts from a slightly brownish grey to a subtly greenish grey with more visible effects.

• Recommended application: 2–3 coats (preferably 3)
• Stable between 1220 and 1280 °C
• Ideal firing temperature: 1250 °C (30 min soak)

Effect depending on firing temperature

• 1220 °C – slightly brownish grey with very fine effect
• 1250 °C – balanced grey with more depth
• 1280 °C – slightly greenish grey with more visible effect
