9302 Achatgrau 1020-1280ºC, bote 200ml

High-gloss glaze, free of toxic additives, with an elegant agate gray finish. It delivers strong, bright colors with a soft pastel touch, creating a glassy and semi-transparent surface ideal for both decorative and functional pieces.

It has a wide firing range, from 1020°C to 1280°C (cones 05-04 to cone 8-9), making it highly versatile:

• At 1050°C: intense and almost opaque colors. Recommended to apply 2 to 3 coats.
• At 1150°C: vivid colors with a fairly semi-transparent surface. Apply 2 coats.
• At 1250°C: glassy, semi-transparent surface with deep pastel tones, especially attractive on porcelain. Apply 2 coats.

For the best results, apply one thick coat or two thin coats. However, above 1150°C, if applied in thick layers, the glaze tends to run.
It is suitable for tableware and utensils intended for food and beverages, as well as for the raku technique.
Excellent results can also be achieved when combined with BOTZ Unidekor.
