9313 Pyrit Weiss 1020-1280ºC, bote 200ml

High-quality semi-transparent glaze, free of toxic additives, featuring an elegant white base adorned with delicate brown speckles. It creates a glossy, glassy surface, ideal for sophisticated finishes on both decorative and functional pieces.

It has a wide firing range, from 1020°C to 1280°C (cones 05-04 to cone 8-9), making it highly versatile:

• At 1050°C: intense, natural white with a nearly opaque finish. Recommended to apply 2 to 3 coats.
• At 1150°C: speckled, semi-transparent surface with rich visual detail. Apply 2 coats.
• At 1250°C: glassy, semi-transparent surface with more delicate and subtle speckles, especially attractive on porcelain. Apply 2 coats.

For the best results, apply one thick coat or two thin coats. However, above 1150°C, if applied in thick layers, the glaze tends to run.
It is suitable for tableware and utensils intended for food and beverages, as well as for the raku technique.
