9622 Amethyst 1020-1280ºC, bote 200ml

High-quality ceramic glaze, free of toxic additives, with a brilliant semi-transparent finish in a deep amethyst violet tone. Its vibrant and elegant color enhances the surface of ceramic pieces, giving them a sophisticated and expressive finish, ideal for both decorative and functional tableware.

It has a wide firing range between 1020°C and 1280°C (cones 05-04 to cone 8-9), delivering different effects depending on the temperature:

• At 1050°C: intensely colored violet, almost opaque.
• At 1150°C: bright shades with a balanced semi-transparent effect.
• At 1250°C: vitreous semi-transparent surface with strong pastel tones, especially attractive on porcelain.

For best results, apply 1 thick coat or 2 thin coats. However, above 1150°C, the glaze may tend to flow when applied in thick layers.

It is suitable for tableware and food-safe items, and also works well for raku firing.
