Tropical Teal is a stoneware glaze with a glossy, semi-opaque teal tone that brings an elegant and visually rich presence to ceramic pieces. Its lustrous surface shows subtle color variations that become more pronounced on textures and reliefs, creating depth and movement in every firing.

It is formulated for mid- to high-temperature firings, approximately between 1180 °C (cone 5) and 1300 °C (cone 10), and performs well in both oxidation and reduction. At mid-range temperatures it usually displays a vibrant blue-green tone, while at higher temperatures or depending on the atmosphere, the green hues may become more intense.

The final result depends on the type of clay, the thickness of the application, and the firing schedule. A thinner coat produces a softer color that slightly reveals the clay body, while two or three coats create a deeper, more saturated tone.

It is a glaze suitable for both decorative and functional pieces, perfect for those seeking a sophisticated, stable teal color that enhances textures and forms.
